- Some may consume fruits and milk, while others may observe a Nirjala fast (without water).

Pooja Samagri (Materials):
- Incense sticks, lamps, oil/ghee, sindoor, rice, Panchamrit, Ganga water, Bilva leaves, Bhasma, fruits, flowers, milk, honey, yogurt, betel leaves, coconut, camphor, cotton thread (Mouli), cloves, cardamom, and sweets.
